BCom (Bachelor of Commerce)

The Programme:

B.Com - Bachelor of Commerce is a full-time undergraduate degree course affiliated with Bengaluru North University.

A degree in BCom enables you to understand the basic principles and practises of trade. You learn the basic dynamics of business and entrepreneurship by learning the basics like Accounting, Auditing, Insurance, Company Law, Corporate Secretarial Practice, Financial Management, etc.

Internships, Business Case Competitions, Career fairs and Student Groups, all allow you to put Classroom Theories to the test, get innovative and network with industry professionals. Student-run commerce, Economics and Finance clubs offer support and a rich learning experience. In addition to the teaching imparted by qualified and experienced Staff, Guest Lecturers and Seminars by experienced management professionals from various Business Schools and Industries are arranged to provide the students with the latest trends in the business world.

The faculty also focuses on developing your communication skills training, life skills and soft skills to help you crack your desired first job interviews.

Placements & Career Prospects:

The faculty and placement department identifies potential companies and informs students of the available job opportunities. The Department of Commerce maintains and frequently updates a network with past and present students to assist the recently passed-out students in identifying suitable employment opportunities.

The student must be determined and motivated to take on any challenge. Students are expected to be smart, confident, well-disciplined, innovative, punctual, have good communication skills, have good character and conduct, and be well-groomed. Students must not have any pending academic commitments.

Minimum Eligibility Criteria:

Pass 10 + 2 (or equivalent) from any Board

or

Pass Diploma approved by any AICTE or DTE Board

Student of NIOS / Vocational / Related Courses in India / Abroad is required to get the Certification in their Institutional Letter-Head in the prescribed format given below and submit to Hindustan Business School at the time of admission. 

"    This is to certify that Mr/Ms......................S/o or D/o ...................... has studied NIOS/Vocational course at our Institution ............................ (Institution name) with the subject and this course is equivalent to 10+2/HSE/Equivalent Board and he/she is eligible for further any UG Degree full-time program in any state recognised university in India.
