Dr. K. C. Samuel is a member of the Aeronautical Society of India, a licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer and an Associate Member of the Institute of Engineers & Technicians. He is also a private pilot license holder from the Madras Flying Club. He holds a Doctorate in Philosophy and Humanities Management.
He was a Flight Engineer and a graduate of Defense Service Staff college Wellington. He has 40 years of Experience, which include Flying & Maintenance of Various types of Aircraft and Helicopter. He has commanded & held important posts in Air & Command HQ. He was a University rank holder.
Graduated with a Degree in Economics from Shri Ram College of Commerce, New Delhi, prior to taking up his A.M.E. license from the Madras Flying Club and was selected by Indian Airlines as an AME Trainee. He became a flight engineer on Airbus A-300 B2/B4 types, clocking an excess of 10,000 hrs. Then he took his Commercial Pilot License from Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Urban Academy and went on to fly the Airbus A319/320/321/330 series of aircrafts, clocking an excess of 7,500 hrs. Prior to his retirement, he obtained the Airbus A330-200 endorsement in Toulouse, France and was CAT IIIB rated and now devotes his time and experience to fledgling aviators.
A stalwart in the technical aspects of Aircraft Engineering, bringing with him over 40 years of experience of training Aircraft Engineers globally, some companies to name are ST Aerospace, Malaysian Airlines and Emirates. EASA and CAAS Trainer Part 66, GCAA Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, Approved by EASA and CAAS to conduct Airbus A318, A319, A320, A321, Boeing 777-200/300 and Airbus A330-200/300 Aircraft Type Courses in B1 and B2 for LAEs. Approved by UAE GCAA to conduct Aircraft Type courses on Boeing 777-200/300/300ER/200LR/200F, Airbus A380-800, A330-200, A340-500, A340-300 courses for Engineers and Mechanics.
